Yom Teruah · Day of Trumpets

Awake and listen

The first day of the seventh biblical month is a day of rest and a memorial of trumpet blasts. It calls the community to gather before God.

Its connection to Yeshua

Trumpet language accompanies the gathering and resurrection of Messiah’s people. We see a theme of readiness and hope; these passages do not establish a date for His return.

Read it in Scripture

Leviticus 23:23–25; Numbers 29:1; Matthew 24:30–31; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
