The first sheaf of the harvest is brought before God in thanksgiving. It acknowledges that the harvest belongs to Him and expresses trust for what follows.
Its connection to Yeshua
Paul explicitly calls the risen Messiah the firstfruits of those who have died. His resurrection is the foundation of our hope of resurrection.
